The Sudanese economy is suffering from chronic inflation, which reached 56.4% in February 2026, with expectations that inflationary pressures will continue. On the other hand, Sudan is one of the biggest gold producers on the continent, with production exceeding 37 tons in the first half of this year, although between 50% and 80% of the gold produced is smuggled outside official channels.
The 'Gold Code' crypto system comes as an innovative solution that invests this national wealth in protecting citizens' savings by converting paper money into digital units backed by physical gold, with full coverage of balances, operational transparency, and full compliance with regulatory and Sharia standards.
