"Smart Sudan" is a leading national platform, representing a smart strategic partnership between the public and private sectors. It is approved under the directives of the Sudanese Cabinet No. (2) of 2023, and supports the e-government in its journey towards comprehensive digital transformation.
"Smart Sudan" platform embodies an ambitious strategic vision aimed at leading the comprehensive digital transformation journey and supporting e-government through a smart and fruitful partnership between the public and private sectors, pursuant to approved government directives. The platform is grounded in a pivotal objective: building a unified and advanced Arab-Sudanese data system that codes and documents institutions, talent, goods, and services to establish the highest standards of transparency and professional integrity in the market.
Furthermore, the platform actively seeks to protect consumers through proactive, smart solutions that curb commercial fraud and exploitation, while empowering individuals and business sectors with advanced digital tools to rebuild societal and investment trust. The first national digital award for business excellence in Sudan aims to honor the top 99 companies and entrepreneurs who have contributed to supporting the national economy. It features a fully digital judging system through the AI-powered “Smart Chamber,” in collaboration with the Engineering Association and a group of top experts to ensure fairness and transparency. The award is open to both public and private sector organizations and is held annually.
