Message from the Director General of Smart Sudan

« I am happy to welcome you to the “Smart Sudan” platform, this ambitious national project that embodies the true partnership between the public and private sectors, and reflects our strong commitment to supporting the digital transformation strategy in Sudan. Based on the directives of the Council of Ministers No. (2) of 2023, and under the kind patronage of the Prime Minister’s Office, we launched this platform to serve as an executive arm for smart consumer protection, and to instill a culture of quality and excellence in our national institutions. Today, we are working on a comprehensive package of specialized projects, starting with “Smart Code” as a national smart coding system, through the “Smart Sudan Award” to honor pioneers of excellence, and extending to specialized programs in food security, workplace safety, and smart education. The success of this vision requires joint efforts from everyone – government, private sector, and civil society – to build together a more transparent, secure, and sustainable Sudan.
